Upgrade Debian:11 iptables to version 1.8.3-2 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream iptables package and not the iptables package as distributed by Debian.
See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.
A buffer overflow in iptables-restore in netfilter iptables 1.8.2 allows an attacker to (at least) crash the program or potentially gain code execution via a specially crafted iptables-save file. This is related to add_param_to_argv in xshared.c.
