How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:11 libarchive to version 3.2.2-3.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libarchive package and not the libarchive package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

The archive_wstring_append_from_mbs function in archive_string.c in libarchive 3.2.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted archive file.
