NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream orthanc package and not the orthanc package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:12 relevant fixed versions and status.

Orthanc server prior to version 1.5.8 does not enable basic authentication by default when remote access is enabled. This could result in unauthorized access by an attacker.
