Amendment

The Debian security team deemed this advisory irrelevant for Debian:13.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream gcc-3.3 package and not the gcc-3.3 package as distributed by Debian.

The -ftrapv compiler option in gcc and g++ 3.3.3 and earlier does not handle all types of integer overflows, which may leave applications vulnerable to vulnerabilities related to overflows.
