How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:13 pdns-recursor to version 5.2.1-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream pdns-recursor package and not the pdns-recursor package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:13 relevant fixed versions and status.

An attacker can publish a zone containing specific Resource Record Sets. Processing and caching results for these sets can lead to an illegal memory accesses and crash of the Recursor, causing a denial of service.

The remedy is: upgrade to the patched 5.2.1 version.
