How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:13 python-virtualenv to version 1.9.1-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python-virtualenv package and not the python-virtualenv package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:13 relevant fixed versions and status.

pip before 1.3 uses HTTP to retrieve packages from the PyPI repository, and does not perform integrity checks on package contents, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted response to a "pip install" operation.
