How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:14 python-pip to version 1.4.1-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python-pip package and not the python-pip package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:14 relevant fixed versions and status.

The mirroring support (-M, --use-mirrors) in Python Pip before 1.5 uses insecure DNS querying and authenticity checks which allows attackers to perform man-in-the-middle attacks.
