How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:9 ejabberd to version 2.1.2-2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream ejabberd package and not the ejabberd package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

ejabberd_c2s.erl in ejabberd before 2.1.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via a large number of c2s (aka client2server) messages that trigger a queue overload.
