CVE-2008-4297 Open this link in a new tabHow to fix?
Upgrade Debian:9
mercurial
to version 1.0.1-5.1 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream mercurial
package and not the mercurial
package as distributed by Debian
.
See How to fix?
for Debian:9
relevant fixed versions and status.
Mercurial before 1.0.2 does not enforce the allowpull permission setting for a pull operation from hgweb, which allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files from a repository via an "hg pull" request.
