CWE-1284  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable libnfs to version 5.0.2-1.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libnfs package and not the libnfs package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

libnfs through 6.0.2 before 55c18ea does not validate a string size, leading to an integer overflow during a connection to a crafted NFS server. This occurs in libnfs_zdr_string in lib/libnfs-zdr.c.
