NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream x265 package and not the x265 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

A NULL Pointer Dereference exists in VideoLAN x265, as used in libbpg 0.9.7 and other products, because the CUData::initialize function in common/cudata.cpp mishandles memory-allocation failure.
