How to fix?

Upgrade Echo:latest flatpak to version 1.16.6-1~deb13u2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream flatpak package and not the flatpak package as distributed by Echo. See How to fix? for Echo:latest relevant fixed versions and status.

In Flatpak before 1.18.1, a malicious sandboxed app can replace ~/.var/app/$appid/.ld.so with a symlink, causing regenerate_ld_cache to write files at an arbitrary location. The filenames and content are not attacker controlled, making this hard to exploit.
