Upgrade github.com/cilium/cilium/pkg/datapath/iptables
to version 1.13.13, 1.14.8, 1.15.2 or higher.
Overview
github.com/cilium/cilium/pkg/datapath/iptables is a manager for iptables-related configuration for Cilium.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information due to improper handling of traffic encryption between nodes when IPsec and L7 policies are enabled. An attacker can intercept and access sensitive information by exploiting the lack of encryption in traffic between a node's Envoy or DNS proxy and pods on other nodes.
Note:
For clusters running in native routing mode, IPsec encryption does not apply to connections selected by a L7 Egress Network Policy or a DNS Policy, a known limitation that persists even after upgrading to the latest versions.
