How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:5 exim to version 0:4.63-5.el5_6.2 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2011-0153.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream exim package and not the exim package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:5 relevant fixed versions and status.

Exim 4.72 and earlier allows local users to gain privileges by leveraging the ability of the exim user account to specify an alternate configuration file with a directive that contains arbitrary commands, as demonstrated by the spool_directory directive.
