How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:5 httpd-devel to version 0:2.2.3-22.0.1.el5_3.2 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2009-1148.

The mod_deflate module in Apache httpd 2.2.11 and earlier compresses large files until completion even after the associated network connection is closed, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption).
