CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:6 docker-devel to version 0:1.3.3-1.0.1.el6 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2014-3110.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream docker-devel package and not the docker-devel package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:6 relevant fixed versions and status.

Docker before 1.3.3 does not properly validate image IDs, which allows remote attackers to conduct path traversal attacks and spoof repositories via a crafted image in a (1) "docker load" operation or (2) "registry communications."
