NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream dtrace-modules-3.8.13-118.21.1.el6uek package and not the dtrace-modules-3.8.13-118.21.1.el6uek package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:6 relevant fixed versions and status.

In the Linux kernel through 3.2, the rds_message_alloc_sgs() function does not validate a value that is used during DMA page allocation, leading to a heap-based out-of-bounds write (related to the rds_rdma_extra_size function in net/rds/rdma.c).
