CWE-94  (opens in a new tab)

This issue was patched in ELSA-2011-1110.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream foomatic package and not the foomatic package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:6 relevant fixed versions and status.

foomaticrip.c in foomatic-rip in foomatic-filters in Foomatic 4.0.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted *FoomaticRIPCommandLine field in a .ppd file, a different vulnerability than CVE-2011-2697.
