NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream perl package and not the perl package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

regcomp.c in Perl before 5.30.3 allows a buffer overflow via a crafted regular expression because of recursive S_study_chunk calls.
