How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:7 thunderbird to version 0:102.7.1-2.0.1.el7_9 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2023-0600.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream thunderbird package and not the thunderbird package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

Certificate OCSP revocation status was not checked when verifying S/Mime signatures. Mail signed with a revoked certificate would be displayed as having a valid signature. Thunderbird versions from 68 to 102.7.0 were affected by this bug. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 102.7.1.
