How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:8 criu-libs to version 0:3.18-4.module+el8.9.0+90147+a4870853 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2024-2988.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream criu-libs package and not the criu-libs package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

QUIC connections do not set an upper bound on the amount of data buffered when reading post-handshake messages, allowing a malicious QUIC connection to cause unbounded memory growth. With fix, connections now consistently reject messages larger than 65KiB in size.
