Upgrade Oracle:8 dovecot-pgsql to version 1:2.2.36-10.el8 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2019-3467.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream dovecot-pgsql package and not the dovecot-pgsql package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

It was discovered that Dovecot before versions 2.2.36.1 and 2.3.4.1 incorrectly handled client certificates. A remote attacker in possession of a valid certificate with an empty username field could possibly use this issue to impersonate other users.
