Upgrade Oracle:8 httpd-devel to version 0:2.4.37-51.0.1.module+el8.7.0+20778+02173b8e or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2022-7647.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream httpd-devel package and not the httpd-devel package as distributed by Oracle.
See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.
Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may crash or disclose information due to a read beyond bounds in ap_strcmp_match() when provided with an extremely large input buffer. While no code distributed with the server can be coerced into such a call, third-party modules or lua scripts that use ap_strcmp_match() may hypothetically be affected.
