NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-uek-devel package and not the kernel-uek-devel package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Measuring usage of the shared memory does not scale with large shared memory segment counts which could lead to resource exhaustion and DoS.
