How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:8 mariadb-pam to version 3:10.5.22-1.module+el8.8.0+21173+e955d7af or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream mariadb-pam package and not the mariadb-pam package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

In MariaDB before 10.9.2, compress_write in extra/mariabackup/ds_compress.cc does not release data_mutex upon a stream write failure, which allows local users to trigger a deadlock.
