How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:8 python38-devel to version 0:3.8.3-3.module+el8.3.0+7824+e0098946 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2020-4641.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python38-devel package and not the python38-devel package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

PyYAML 5.1 through 5.1.2 has insufficient restrictions on the load and load_all functions because of a class deserialization issue, e.g., Popen is a class in the subprocess module. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2017-18342.
