How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:8 python39-attrs to version 0:20.3.0-2.module+el8.9.0+90016+9c2d6573 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2025-23530.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python39-attrs package and not the python39-attrs package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

The urllib.parse.urlsplit() and urlparse() functions improperly validated bracketed hosts ([]), allowing hosts that weren't IPv6 or IPvFuture. This behavior was not conformant to RFC 3986 and potentially enabled SSRF if a URL is processed by more than one URL parser.
