How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:8 thunderbird to version 0:91.6.0-1.0.1.el8_5 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2022-0535.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream thunderbird package and not the thunderbird package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

If a user was convinced to drag and drop an image to their desktop or other folder, the resulting object could have been changed into an executable script which would have run arbitrary code after the user clicked on it. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 97, Thunderbird < 91.6, and Firefox ESR < 91.6.
