How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:9 buildah to version 2:1.43.1-3.0.1.el9_8 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2026-37410.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream buildah package and not the buildah package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

SSH servers which use CertChecker as a public key callback without setting IsUserAuthority or IsHostAuthority could be caused to panic by a client presenting a certificate. CertChecker now returns an error instead of panicking when these callbacks are nil.
