How to fix?

Upgrade Oracle:9 nodejs-nodemon to version 0:2.0.20-2.module+el9.2.0+21038+115df6a2 or higher.
This issue was patched in ELSA-2023-4330.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream nodejs-nodemon package and not the nodejs-nodemon package as distributed by Oracle. See How to fix? for Oracle:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

The use of proto in process.mainModule.proto.require() can bypass the policy mechanism and require modules outside of the policy.json definition. This vulnerability affects all users using the experimental policy mechanism in all active release lines: v16, v18 and, v20.

Please note that at the time this CVE was issued, the policy is an experimental feature of Node.js
