How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:10 curl to version 0:8.23.0-0.1.hum1 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2026:82895.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream curl package and not the curl package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Enabling CURLOPT_CRLF causes curl to advertise the raw input byte count in the IMAP APPEND {N} literal while transmitting line-ending expanded data. The server reads only $N$ bytes for the payload, causing the remaining overflow bytes to be interpreted and executed as pipelined IMAP commands within the authenticated session.
