How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:10 curl to version 0:8.23.0-0.1.hum1 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2026:82895.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream curl package and not the curl package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

When curl is built with GnuTLS, a malicious WebSocket server can make curl send memory past its send buffer. This is due to an out of bounds read following when gnutls_record_send() returns a number of bytes sent greater than the number of bytes it was given to send. GnuTLS does that after a blocked send.
