NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream systemd-networkd-defaults package and not the systemd-networkd-defaults package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

In systemd 259 before 260, there is local privilege escalation in systemd-machined because varlink can be used to reach the root namespace.
