NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream OpenEXR-devel package and not the OpenEXR-devel package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:6 relevant fixed versions and status.

There is a flaw in OpenEXR in versions before 3.0.0-beta. An attacker who can submit a crafted file to be processed by OpenEXR could cause an integer overflow, potentially leading to problems with application availability.
