How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:7 eap7-netty to version 0:4.1.135-1.Final_redhat_00001.1.el7eap or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2026:53644.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream eap7-netty package and not the eap7-netty package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

A flaw was found in EAP's IIOP. The listener's NameService would accept bind operations without authentication, allowing an attacker to hijack JNDI lookups and binding them to a malicious ORB, achieving MITM or DoS on further invocations.
