CVE-2014-4043  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-94  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for RHEL:7 glibc.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream glibc package and not the glibc package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

The posix_spawn_file_actions_addopen function in glibc before 2.20 does not copy its path argument in accordance with the POSIX specification, which allows context-dependent attackers to trigger use-after-free vulnerabilities.
