NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream gnutls-dane package and not the gnutls-dane package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in GnuTLS. As Nettle's hash update functions internally call memcpy, providing zero-length input may cause undefined behavior. This flaw leads to a denial of service after authentication in rare circumstances.
