CWE-400  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:7 haproxy to version 0:1.5.2-3.el7_0 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2014:1292.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream haproxy package and not the haproxy package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

Multiple integer overflows in the http_request_forward_body function in proto_http.c in HAProxy 1.5-dev23 before 1.5.4 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a large stream of data, which triggers a buffer overflow and an out-of-bounds read.
