CWE-400  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:7 libvirt-nss to version 0:4.5.0-36.el7 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2020:4000.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libvirt-nss package and not the libvirt-nss package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

qemu/qemu_driver.c in libvirt before 6.0.0 mishandles the holding of a monitor job during a query to a guest agent, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service (API blockage).
