CWE-776  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for RHEL:7 neethi.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream neethi package and not the neethi package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

A small WS-Policy document using repeated policy references can force Neethi to re-expand the same references exponentially during normalization, consuming huge amounts of CPU and memory (denial of service). Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.4, which fixes this issue.
