CVE-2015-3276 Open this link in a new tabHow to fix?
Upgrade RHEL:7 openldap-servers-sql to version 0:2.4.40-8.el7 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2015:2131.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream openldap-servers-sql package and not the openldap-servers-sql package as distributed by RHEL.
See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.
The nss_parse_ciphers function in libraries/libldap/tls_m.c in OpenLDAP does not properly parse OpenSSL-style multi-keyword mode cipher strings, which might cause a weaker than intended cipher to be used and allow remote attackers to have unspecified impact via unknown vectors.
