NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream rsyslog-gnutls package and not the rsyslog-gnutls package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

A denial of service vulnerability was found in rsyslog in the imptcp module. An attacker could send a specially crafted message to the imptcp socket, which would cause rsyslog to crash. Versions before 8.27.0 are vulnerable.
