CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:8 cri-tools to version 0:1.21.0-3.el8 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2021:3248.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream cri-tools package and not the cri-tools package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

The crypto/tls package of Go through 1.16.5 does not properly assert that the type of public key in an X.509 certificate matches the expected type when doing a RSA based key exchange, allowing a malicious TLS server to cause a TLS client to panic.
