How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:8 kernel-rt-devel to version 0:4.18.0-553.22.1.rt7.363.el8_10 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2024:7001.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-rt-devel package and not the kernel-rt-devel package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

tcp_metrics: validate source addr length

I don't see anything checking that TCP_METRICS_ATTR_SADDR_IPV4 is at least 4 bytes long, and the policy doesn't have an entry for this attribute at all (neither does it for IPv6 but v6 is manually validated).
