There is no fixed version for RHEL:8 libyang.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libyang package and not the libyang package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

In function ext_get_plugin() in libyang <= v1.0.225, it doesn't check whether the value of revision is NULL. If revision is NULL, the operation of strcmp(revision, ext_plugins[u].revision) will lead to a crash.
