NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream nginx:1.16/nginx-mod-http-perl package and not the nginx:1.16/nginx-mod-http-perl package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

NGINX before 1.17.7, with certain error_page configurations, allows HTTP request smuggling, as demonstrated by the ability of an attacker to read unauthorized web pages in environments where NGINX is being fronted by a load balancer.
