How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:8 nodejs:12/npm to version 1:6.14.14-1.12.22.5.1.module+el8.4.0+12242+af52a4c7 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2021:3623.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream nodejs:12/npm package and not the nodejs:12/npm package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

If the Node.js https API was used incorrectly and "undefined" was in passed for the "rejectUnauthorized" parameter, no error was returned and connections to servers with an expired certificate would have been accepted.
