NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python39-devel:3.9/python39-psycopg2 package and not the python39-devel:3.9/python39-psycopg2 package as distributed by RHEL.

The imaplib module, when passed a user-controlled command, can have additional commands injected using newlines. Mitigation rejects commands containing control characters.
