CWE-88  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:8 ruby:2.5/rubygem-mysql2-doc to version 0:0.4.10-4.module+el8.1.0+3656+f80bfa1d or higher.
This issue was patched in RHBA-2019:3384.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream ruby:2.5/rubygem-mysql2-doc package and not the ruby:2.5/rubygem-mysql2-doc package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

An issue was discovered in RubyGems 2.6 and later through 3.0.2. Since Gem::UserInteraction#verbose calls say without escaping, escape sequence injection is possible.
