How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:9 kernel-zfcpdump-modules to version 0:5.14.0-284.77.1.el9_2 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2024:5066.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-zfcpdump-modules package and not the kernel-zfcpdump-modules package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

blk-cgroup: fix list corruption from resetting io stat

Since commit 3b8cc6298724 ("blk-cgroup: Optimize blkcg_rstat_flush()"), each iostat instance is added to blkcg percpu list, so blkcg_reset_stats() can't reset the stat instance by memset(), otherwise the llist may be corrupted.

Fix the issue by only resetting the counter part.
